In what may have been the most significant and disgusting election smear since Rather-gate, Team Obama again perpetrated false allegations about Mitt Romney concerning his time at Bain. The Obama campaign is so desperate to make the offshoring/outsourcing attacks stick that they are digging for just one example to actually substantiate the charge (they still have none). Today, they seized upon a report that alleged that Romney was still in charge of Bain while he was running the Olympics, a charge that has already been debunked by several fact-checkers and is easily explained by anyone who knows what a leave of absence is and who understands basic business management structure.
