State Constitutional Challenges to ObamaCare

The news that Missouri’s Proposition C survived a legal test before its ballot day of August 3 should be noted by the many other states challenging ObamaCare by changing their own laws (H/T 24th State). The Tenth Amendment Center has a centralized database of “Health Care Freedom Acts” in various states. These are on top of state lawsuits that have been filed against the new federal law.

While Missourians will vote on August 3 to amend the state constitution, the Show-Me State isn’t the only one with a constitutional amendment in the works. Other states will be interested to see what happens in Missouri.
