After the Biden interview with Barbara West of WFTV Orlando, we’re learning that West is getting the Joe the Plumber treatment. The left is digging into her life in an attempt to destroy her, all because she dared to ask questions unapproved by the Obama campaign.
This morning, I turned on the news while getting ready for work and heard Barack Obama at rally in Pennsylvania. Obama was assuring the crowd that his tax cuts will benefit 95% of Americans, and “99.9% of plumbers.” The crowd laughed. I didn’t find it funny to mock a person’s ambitions. Barack Obama apparently believes that only a few fringe Americans have the ambition to make more money. Why do that when the government can even the playing field for you?
We know what’s happened to Joe the Plumber since he dared show concern about Obama’s economic plans. We can only guess what will happen to the hosts of this CBS3 Philadelphia interview with Joe Biden, who incredibly denied any relation between Obama’s “spread the wealth around” comments and the textbook definition of socialism.
Biden also dodged questions and denied allegations about allocating money to employers of his family. Unfortunately for Joe Biden, the anchors were correct. The Obama campaign has threatened to not do any more interviews with the station, so the station decided not to air the interview.
This is becoming a common theme: if you ask Obama or Biden questions that put them on the hotseat, or if you express concerns or doubts about their ideas, you’ll be tarnished. It’s possible that when Biden warned Seattle Democrats that Obama might make bad decisions in the face of a national crisis, he wasn’t pleading for their continued trust; he was warning them not to question.
The left has done everything to stifle free speech during this campaign. It makes sense that the media is so in the tank for Obama, because they know their competition is being eliminated, and this is perhaps their last chance to display political power. Maybe this is why Chris Matthews felt a tingle up his leg.
