Democrats are looking forward to a tidal wave. We know they want to soak the “wealthy,” but many people don’t realize they’re going after retirement savings. That’s right, House Democrats are already evaluating our 401(k)s, and it seems they’d rather force us to contribute to a Social Security-type program.
You can bet your retirement savings that if the Democrats have anything close to 60 senators plus a President Obama, our tax-free retirement accounts won’t be around much longer. Anyone who thinks they’ll stay dry under an Obama administration and a Pelosi-Reid Congress is in for a rude awakening.
UPDATE: This Democrat plan also says the government takes half of our savings when we die, so we’ll have to find another way to save for our families.
