Some Thoughts On Day 2

The Obama-Clinton rift has been described as a “long and delicate dance” by pundits and Obama is hoping for a full catharsis from Clinton tonight, but chances are he won’t get that. Polls show one in five Clinton backers are supporting Senator McCain, and it seems like they still are simmering. We will see what she can say to try to alleviate these still angry voters.

Wow – Just saw Warner’s “keynote” speech where he only mentions McCain by name a couple of times and refuses to attack the Senator on just about anything. Warner spoke about technology and education, who ever won an election harping about technology? It is now being reported that Warner’s speech was moved back because he refused to play the attack dog, so now Ted Strickland and Deval Patrick will read the attack lines. With the race tightening dramatically the past week, maybe Warner is worried about his race in Virginia.
